ZEITGEIST Axis Seal size

This question is for Ryan, although anyone who has run the campaign please let me know how you interprit this.

How big is the Axis seal? Its supposed to be 100 feet diameter. But the map of the seal is massive, Its 400 feet across! What was the intended size of the seal vs the entire area of the ritual?

100 feet is the center most ring if each square is 10 feet.

The next ring is 200 feet seal (It does say that somewhere in the adventure) or 100 if each square is resized to 5 feet.

The outermost ring is 400ft if the seal is designed to cover the entire ritual area.

What was the idea behind it? Im leaning towards the seal just covering the central energy area but that also covers the first pillar. Anyone who has completed the campaign or got near to it, what did you do?

From adventure 10:

[...] Axis Seal—a hundred-foot diameter disk of gold. That seal lies atop bedrock, the center of which is a twenty-foot diameter hemispherical depression, ten feet deep. It is from this depression that intense blasts of energy from across the multiverse flare out.

Around that depression, carvings of primitive orc runes form seven rings, each ten feet farther out. Spaced somewhat irregularly around these rings are vertical pits. [...] Each pit is about five feet in diameter and contains the fifty foot long white stone shaft of a petrified tree. Halfway down that shaft, a small alcove holds a golden icon that represents a particular plane

I think the description is a bit different in some other part of the campaign, but this is the one I'm using currently. IIRC Born's height also varies a bit at several points... So your last guess is correct, the gold seal will cover the inner-most ring, it's much bigger than the actual planar stream at the center.

I would even consider it to only be 80 feet across to fit within the ring on the map. The specs could be over designed to make sure the colossus is able to lift the seal.

My table took a break to play another campaign for a bit and we're going back to Adventure 10 soon. So i took what you all said about the size of the seal and made up a map of the Axis Seal site when they find it during act 2. Enjoy
