BAB for a 98 HD Dragon?

Pg. 30, MM. A solar is not.

And of course, that's the only core outsider with more than 20HD, I believe. Since Solars gave a 'foretaste' of epicness with weapons of more than +10 enchantment (+5 dancing vorpals) and mighty longbows of more than +4 strength mod, either ELH or MM is wrong.

Take your pick.

The MM has been errated, hasn't it? This is a known mistake, regardless.

Personally, I'm just going with ever-increasing BAB and using best 20 levels for saves. Simpler that way.

Not for the Solar's attacks. The only mention of the Solar in the MM errata sheet is that its Regeneration should be Fast Healing.

But- since the ELH specifically states that no creature (including gods because DDG follows this too) can have more than four attacks per round regardless of BAB, I believe it is safe to assume that the Solar is limited to 4 attacks as well.

Then why do Hecatoncheires get 10 attacks against small, 15 attacks against medium, and 20 attacks against Large creatures in the same action?

Its a creature out of the ELH and it has more than the standard 4 attacks a round.

I dont mean attacks based on number of limbs, etc. I meant attacks based on the creature's BAB. Two totally different things.

The Hecatoncheires gets the number of attacks it does because it has 100 arms.

Read the bottom of page 7 in the ELH. It discusses the limitation on BAB and why they did it.
