BAB vs AC?

I'd rather just buff the S&B and the single-handed weapon style (no one mentioned it, but it sucks even worse than sword and board).

I have always really liked the single weapon style, but there is virtually nothing printed for it that is worth while. What types of things do you do to buff it?

Also, I find armor is still useful up to about level 10-14. I have a cleric with a mount (using Ride to give +4 cover AC), defending armor spikes, defending spiked gauntlets, and an animated shield. I single handedly killed a group of clay golems (+14 to hit) because they couldn't hit me except on a 20. I had 32 AC, plus the mount's cover.
