Is there an "Children of Adventurers Daycare Center" anywhere in Hyrwl? Supposedly Archon's baby could just hang out with Jaine's. They are of a ... close age.

We could always start one in the palace since that should be the most protected... well as protected as not being with us can be...
Dara should be getting close to due time as well, and if we want to open it up there are probably other very small children running around Hywrl.

Good point about Dara, except that in character, I don't think anyone knows who Dara is. She's just a member of Jansten's rebel entourage who happens to be pregnant for all you know. Only the two Archonus's would know any different, and I am under the impression that they're not sharing.

However, she is the only member of the Rebellion (greg really needs to name his forces...) that's pregnant. Start up an IC thread if someone wants to ask her.

Correct IC we don't know she would be important at all.... it was just another one of those last chance to get things aired out within the circle.

And just by her being in the Jansten's group and a mage of some power might lend us to think she could be better placed using that magic instead of babysitting. Reason I put it in with the if we open it up to others deal.

I suggested long ago that Archonus get a trustworthy nanny to raise his child... someone that can protect her, teacher her, and train her so that - when she's of the proper age - she can adventure somewhat safely. He's rejected the idea every time. He insists that she be with us.

Just want to state that Personally I agree that the kid will be as fine or as in danger with us as it would be elsewhere. Placing the child with lower NPCs and the heir to our little queendom is marking the kid for trouble and danger. With us though not too much better off at least we can protect it the best.

Remeber all those arguments as to why it okay or better for Justice to carry around the mace of the apecto (I would add the necklace that xath wears but we need it to pointout other blades)

Before I was just stating it as an option that if we want we can start a daycare for those in our army. AA and Xath can decide whatever they want about placing the child in day care or not.

Looking at yeppers and since I am the only one who has posted since.... If this about what I said it was directed at you. It was simply to state that while I was helping Gertie start a daycare I was not in anyway stating that AA should do anything the kid and the day care. To me they are two seperate things. And so tried state in my post.

Consider (in character) what happened the last time Archonus left any of his family members. His parents were tortured and murdered, and his sister was forced to do atrocious thing under the power of the shadowstone.

If I were Archonus, I wouldn't be so fast about leaving my baby around either. That baby anywhere is asking for trouble. At least if she's with us, we'll be able to deal with it directly.

The point about the wet-nurse is well taken though. Obviously we can't ask Jaine because the queen being a wet-nurse would be....wierd. So we could start combing through the other pregnant ladies of Hyrwl. Who's close to term? Jaine, Dara, .....?

Perhaps it's time to approach Ms. Goldenblade about a job. Unless either Archon wants to step up to say anything against that.

I'm confused? Afraid I don't understand what you're saying, Kat...

I was just saying that a day care for the military would be good... and that Justice was keeping quiet about Archonus' decisions about the child... she's expressed them a thousand times, but they are not the path that Archonus has chosen. No big deal. She's not upset about it... just keeping her opinions to herself and - in the months during the battles/in any off time - has been helping search for and train a nurse to travel with the circle.
