Background idea's for a Ifrit Sorcerer

Greetings everyone.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this so please move if necessary.

I'm going about designing an Ifrit Sorcerer character to use in a ROTR campaign and am having trouble thinking of a good background for him (I'm terrible at this lol#. I was hoping to see if the good people of the enworld community could help me with so ideas for backgrounds and the like.

Here's the basic skeletal structure I have for him.

-He was raised in the town of Sandpoint #I wanted him here as I see sandpoint as the most popular starting point for aspiring adventurers).

-His one true love and passion is that of adventure. He lives a live of adventure, questing, travel, exploration etc.

-He is CG in nature

-He is a sorcerer first and foremost but he will get some levels of fighter as he improves.

-As with all ifrit he is a strong adorer of fire in all its forms. Most of his spells are fire based.

-He has a cheerful and lively personality

-His melee weapon of choice is the spear

People will tell you fire is the worst type of spell damage, as statistically, more monsters are fireproof than lightning or acidproof. While this is true, it doesn't actually make it bad. Still, have some nonfirey options available at all times.

Now, efreet are tricksters and also associated with blood and sandstorms. So that's a few more aspects to work with. Sorcs get their power from their blood so there's another thing.

Now, at the start, it's mentioned there was a terrible fire at Sandpoint a few years back. While others fled in terror , he could have been watching, transfixed by the torrent of flame, streaming into the heavens as if trying to reunite with the sun and stars.

I'd suggest grabbing a lonspear instead of a regular spear, as standing near an enemy while you cast gets you whacked in the face.

Finally, resist the urge to call yourself 'hot' or other variation of the theme, even if you do have a stratospheric Charisma. Hope that helps.
