Backwards Conversion: 3E Keep on the Shadowfell?

As some of you are aware, I'm starting work on my first homebrew world, Masque of Shadows.

I thought it would be cool to use KotS as the introductory module to my campaign and as such want to include choice bit of it in my 3E/OGL homebrew.

Has anyone done or started up a 3E fan conversion of KotS? If there is a conversion done and it is online, a link would be most helpful.

Not to threadcrap, but...

Well, no, I'm going to threadcrap and point out that Keep on the Shadowfell, well, sort of sucks from both a roleplaying and rollplaying standpoint, so it's unlikely anyone's bothered to convert it. The closest I've seen is a redo of it for 4e that attempts to patch up some of the worst parts. In addition, some of it is especially designed to introduce people to 4e's quirks specifically. (see: the rather silly encounter with Sir Keegan)

So I would disrecommend it, or at least recommend basing any conversion around the plot overview as opposed to the adventure and encounters in specific.

I remember someone saying he converted it to 1E, but I don't know who it was? Lanefan perhaps?

Don't see that it would be too hard to do, just keep your eye on the ECL of fights.

Otherwise my group enjoyed it but I think it is an adventure more suited to an experienced DM that can make it come to life than a beginner. That said there have been a number of threads on how to fix it up and add in more detail that would help it be easier on a new DM.
