Urizen, Guild of Blades is not a member company at Your Games Now and is not privy to any information on how our members interact with each other. He's just being negative without having proper information to judge the workings of Your Games Now. He's also done so in other threads, such as at rpgnet.

On a more positive note: November isn't that far away and exclusive contracts end. I'd gladly start a vote for you and your company when the time's right.

Sometimes negativity is justly deserved. Regardless, I am entitled to my opinion and I am entitled to share it if I care to. I can only base my opinions based on my direct experiences or from the experiences of those that I trust.

The reason you don't see negativity coming from Joseph or the few people trumpeting YGN is the same reason you don't see negativity coming for current BOD members over at GAMA. Doesn't mean there isn't some justly deserved negativity being formed out there due to the experiences people are having with those entities. I can't speak to the "consumer" experience regards to YGN, I can only speak to what I have seen regarding its publisher interactions.

And my impression remains negative. Anyone wants more info than that, feel free to e-mail me privately.

Please take anything Ryan says with a grain of salt. Although he's not the only company that hasn't been able to gather the 75% super-majority needed to become a member of Your Games Now, he's certainly been the only individual to decide that because his company and Your Games Now's goals are not currently congruent, that Your Games Now is an equal boogeyman to him as the Board of Directors of GAMA.

Ryan, I know you're unhappy that Guild of Blades didn't manage to gather a full 75% vote for membership at Your Games Now, but your experience doesn't make your negative opinion concerning how the site runs appear anything more than the sour grapes it is once the readers know the full story.

I have gone to great lengths to be as professional and polite with you as possible, but your continued insistance of bad-mouthing YGN without revealing to the readers the reasons behind your opinion is, unfortunately, enough to make me inform the readers for you. I won't allow you partial public disclosure when it's only to your benefit.

In the future, I will not be so restrained and will immediately respond to your negative posts concerning Your Games Now to inform the readers that your only interaction with our cooperatively-run enterprise has been your failed attempt to join the very enterprise that you are so vocally negative about. I have been as polite and professional as I believe you deserve.

If you so dislike petty politics, I suggest you stop engaging in them and go your separate way. None of us at Your Games Now have spoken poorly in public concerning Guild of Blades, but you have certainly taken your opportunities to swipe at Your Games Now when they presented themselves. Even in completely inappropriate threads such as this one, welcoming new members.

Regardless of that, my opinion is my opinion and its something I reserve the right to express should I chose. And seeing ad copy on the subject that I do not feel presents full picture, in this instance, I chose to share my opinion. I may do so in the future too if I care to. I would still like to know more about this negative interaction among publishers that you keep referring to. Since you have not been privy to any of YGN's publisher interactions, I wonder how you can profess an opinion of any merit?
