Bad Axe and NBOS at Your Games Now

I haven't noticed anything. Sorry to hear you have a bad impression of the site.

I've been 100% behind everything that Your Games Now has done and am completely satisfied with our membership's generous and welcoming attitude towards other members, prospective members, and to our new customers. I believe our members have made the correct decisions in the past, and that they will continue to do so in the future.

Your games now has doubled its number of members in two months while also doubling its product selection. It's the fastest growing e-gaming commerce site in the market and it's decided to sponsor the 2007 GenCon ENnies awards in recognition of fan-based initiatives. But more importantly, our members are very excited about having a direct voice in the direction of the site as every member has a vote in site operations. Where the site goes is based upon its member's, and customer's, opinions.

Um, I have been less than impressed so far. Or, rather, not surprised by the attitudes. Business as usual with regards to the incestuous nature of the game industry.

I couldn't disagree more...could you be more specific? I really don't understand what you could be talking about.

>>Thanks...that does clarify it. <<

Glad I could help. :uhoh:

In short, the details of which I'm not really interested in drudging out for debate.

Just saying, this spirit of cooperation and publisher centric bit that all the marketing hype behind YGN has been pushing, its not quite so rosy or accurate as all that. This little collective has failed to escape the traditional industry petty politics.

Those publishers who are privy to the internal communications and workings of Your Games Now know that it is an exciting and cooperative place. There is no other site where members have a direct voice in the operations of the site-where members make the decisions about what the site does and does not. That's exciting to all the members and it makes for a pleasant and rosy environment.

I can say with 100% certainty that our members are happier with Your Games Now than with any other e-gaming commerce site because they are the one's in charge of the site -they are the site. Having the ability to determine what happens makes for publishers who are interested and excited and interested and excited publishers make great products.

I welcome any publisher to send me an e-mail at yourgamesow@gmail.com to find out how Your Games Now is run and to put their company up to a vote for membership. If 75% of our current members believe a prospective member is a good fit for Your Games Now, the new company will come aboard and have a say in where the site goes from that day on because our current members run the site and determine future members who then determine future members.

Maybe you shouldn't have bothered posting if you weren't interested in "drudging it out for debate" as you put it. As far as I can tell nobody else has posted negatively on this thread except for you. Indeed, I haven't seen any negative comments about YGN in any YGN-related posting on enworld, with the exception of your posts.

As someone who isn't affiliated with YGN at the point in time (and especially as a potential customer), I'm certainly not interested in hearing the vocal minority come onto a public forum and start slinging mud at the people who voted his company into the collective.

This bears repeating, because I'm not sure I really got it until I joined. The publishers on YGN literally run YGN.

Urizen, Guild of Blades is not a member company at Your Games Now and is not privy to any information on how our members interact with each other. He's just being negative without having proper information to judge the workings of Your Games Now. He's also done so in other threads, such as at rpgnet.

On a more positive note: November isn't that far away and exclusive contracts end. I'd gladly start a vote for you and your company when the time's right. :)
