Sorry, I'm brand new here so I'm not sure if this has been posted.. but I just ran across it the other day and was stunned. It's an amazing model of Bag End from Lord of the Rings made by a wonderfully talented woman named Maddie Chambers

That's a gorgeous model.

Naturally the first comment I see on it from the geek public is an indictment of her choice to not base it strictly on the book. As a subculture, we don't deserve to procreate.

Wow... That's really something else!
I've been house hunting lately, slogging though endless photos online of interior shots much like those-- and, sadly, nothing has come close to this place in coolness. Though it's likely a little stingy on the square footage.
