Barbarian rage and trip attack

When a barbarian is "in rage", is he allowed to do a trip attack?

It the PHP you can read that while raged, he may not use combat expertise, but what about those talents who depend on combat expertise. Are they affected?

He may still use improved trip. The Use of the combat expertise feat is prevented, but he still possesses it.

If he loses the prerequisite of a feat, THEN he loses access to ALL the feats in that chain.

I guess that means that he CAN trip, he just won't get the +4 to trip (IIRC) or followup attack. (or whatever the feat grants if I'm mistaken)

No, he gets all the benefits of the feat.
