Bark armor

I may be mistaken, but I believe that the Kalamar Players Guide by Kenzer & Co. has bark and/or leaf armor. I know I saw it just recently while going through some setting books, and I think that was the one.

It has a Wooden Breastplate, and also Cord armor (made from ropes or vines twisted into wiry cords).

the 3e article about Elves also has Leaf and Darkwood armors which are kinda like mithral for natural armors (Darkwood made metal armors natural armors ... yay druids!). Only natural armors (leather/hide/padded) can be made out of the magical/alchemical leaves ... while only metal armors can be made out of Darkwood.

iirc I read somewhere the SKR wasn't to thrilled with them, not thought out and a bit overpowered (or under priced) ... but not to horribly so.
