There are just a few days left in the campaign. If you are a fan of the BASH! Family of games already, or of Sword & Sorcery genre in particular, come see it.

The Rule System

BASH! Fantasy: Legends of Steel is an update to the BASH! Fantasy RPG system published by Basic Action Games, set in the gritty Sword & Sorcery world of Erisa created by Jeff Mejia. The rules were written by Chris Rutkowsky, who was nominated for an ENnie award for Best Rules for BASH! Ultimate Edition in 2009, and won Judge’s Spotlight for Honor + Intrigue swashbuckling RPG in 2012. For those unfamiliar, BASH! originally was published by Basic Action Games as a rules-lite superheroic RPG system. Not long after, it was followed by BASH! Fantasy and later BASH! Sci-Fi Edition, which strove to maintain the rules-lite explosive engine of BASH! scaled towards heroic cinematic action.

BASH! has changed a bit over the years, and this update is going to bring some of the nuances and innovations of BASH! Ultimate Edition and BASH! Sci-Fi Edition to BASH! Fantasy.

In the past, BASH! has always been a tool-kit system. We provided rather generic rules to craft any sort of Hero or monster you wished and run adventures set in any world you liked. We gave some broad-stroke ideas about potential subgenres or campaigns a Narrator could run. This time, BASH! Fantasy: Legends of Steel offers you a single complete campaign setting: the gritty Sword & Sorcery world of Erisa.
