Basic Action Games Character Creation Contest!

Hi all! Basic Action Games is gearing up for our next two releases: Megapolis: A City of Supers, and BASH! Sword & Sorcery.

The Megapolis book will contain locations, organizations, and people of interest in the city of Megapolis, a major US city on the Eastern Seaboard. Along with this, there will be a calender of events that occur over the course of a year in the city, so you can make use of continuous subplots!

In addition, the book will play host to dozens of discriptions of heroes and villains alike, each with a full stat writeup, back-story, and plot seeds. This is where you come in! We are looking for people to come up with ideas for unique heroes or villains (or even interesting normal folks) to put in our book. Please send your submissions to epochrpg@yahoo.com. Include the name, stats, powers, advantages, disadvantages, and backstory-- the whole shebang. If your submission makes the cut, we'll put it in the book and give you the credit!

I read your blurb, and I still don't know what system the game is in. I'm going to make the assumption, from reading the blurb, that its a new system. Am I correct?

Right, I read that blurb. I was just wanting to make sure that I understood it correctly.

Yes, the system is the Basic Action System. Essentially, it is a 2d6 based system, where you multiply the result by a given number (usually somewhere between 1 and 5, but goes up to 10). If you roll doubles, you get to roll a third die and add it before multiplying.
