Basic role play by chaosium, anyone still use it?

Obe if my first rpgs was call of cthulhu, followed by a copy of ringworld. I really liked the chaosium chaosium system.

Been a long time since I used it, but does anyone else here still like or use it? Just curious.

My weekly online game right now is a Call of Cthulhu campaign. So yes.

For a grittier world, I really like the experience/growth system for getting better at things without actually getting more powerful.

Since it's the core for most Chaosium games... and CoC is a pretty big second tier game... other BRP games are further down the list, but still selling games, and getting plays. Evidence of that is posted elsewhere on EnWorld - the Orr report.

I'm looking forward to Pendragon 6th - technically it, too, is a BRP game. At least according to Chaosium's BRP SRD. (But the KAP specific mechanics are off limits according to their licensing terms. It's not under the WOGL1.0a)
