Bastion of Lost Souls (Spoilers)

I am running the whole Adventure Path series and have been trying to tie them together a bit more. I have been assuming that the last module (judging by the cover I have seen and the other modules) would deal in some way with the dragon Ashardalon. However, now I see that it has something to do with Demogorgon?!?! Is there anything in the module about Ashardalon? I haven't seen the module anywhere but its supposed to be out now I think.

I don't think it's out yet. I thought the same thing as you. Maybe Ashardalon will pop up somewhere in the module. I mean.... he IS on the cover. In the mean time I found this link...

Demogorgon has been known to prop up lesser cults and other figures, perhaps Ashardalon is a Proxy of Demogorgon as I doubt even an magic heavy 20th level party comprised of the Iconics could take on one of the heftiest Demon Princes solo and why Demogorgon wouldn't just summon wave after wave of demons to wear down the party would be beyond me.

Maybe ole Demy is bored or just has other plans besides mowing down adventurers for the week. He probably does that pretty often.

I don't have the answer either Simon, but am interested in throwing in my plea for an answer as well, since I'm running the Adventure Path series much like yourself.
