Some fans in Chicago managed to catch Batman on tape while the crew was prepping a scene on top of a building!

Cape looks mondo cool!

The cape action is cool, but or some reason it doesn't look real. Maybe because the Suit is too shiny, and anyway shouldn't it be black (as per the shots from the official site?)

I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt. With as bright the lights they were using on the suit, I'm not surprised it looked glossy - they were casting a shadow on another building. Very cool stuff.

Yeah they've got Gotham cop cars all over the place here, too.

Bet they won't be shooting today or through the weekend though. Every few seconds a handful of jets are screaming overhead as practice for the Air and Water Show this weekend.

The suit is grey is those photos. Just dark grey. Not black.

They've been shooting for a couple weeks just down the block from where I work. All night shoots however, so I haven't seen much of anything. I think he's standing on the roof of a chinese restaurant in that clip. The building behind Batman is the parking garage for the building I work in.
