Batman:Dead End

Batman Begins is focused on Bruce Wayne. He becomes Batman later in the film. As for villains, we have Ken Watanabe (Last Samurai) playing Ra's Al Ghul and Cillian Murphy (28 Days Later) playing Johnathan Crane, a.k.a. The Scarecrow.

Oh, and who is the villian?

An old school Denny O' Neil villian from the 70's called Ra's Al Ghul. He's a man who is for all sense and purpose pretty much Batman's opposite number. He's filthy rich, inumerable resources, he's just as smart and as cunning as Batman (maybe even moreso). He's sort of an eco-terrorist who's primary concern is that he leaves a male heir behind to finish his work of protecting the planet from man's destructive nature. He's pretty much selected Batman to sire his grandchild with his daughter Talia, but Batman refused so now theyre basically enemies.

In the comics however Batman and Talia do get together and sire a child. The thing is that Bats is unaware that Talia bore him a son...

*slaps forhead* D'oh! Now I remember! I did know about Ra's Al Ghul, I just haven't thought about him for so long I couldn't connect the story with the name! So this new Batman is kind of like a prequel to the others right? And is Talia being played by Katie Holmes?

Not really. This new movie is a complete reset. It doesn't exist in the same continuum as the others, and doesn't acknowledge they ever existed.

For which I, for one, give great thanks, especially after what a travesty the series became. :)

Sh'es talking about the fan film not the the feature that's coming out next year.

Hey, she made it sound like she was talking about the new Batman movie - I never saw any of the fan films, so I thought "Dead End" just represented the degree of confindence she had in the new one. ;)
