Battlefield 2 Demo date

Mid june, only about a week before the game, i thought it would be sooner.

I'm very excited about this game, but when games are pushed back, and demos aren't available until shortly before release, I get cautious. I'll definitely be playing the demo and reading reviews before purchase. I'm particularly interested to see how they handle griefers, given the new integrated voicechat and the commander system.

I heard the the person running the server can set it up to be very harsh on TK'ers. You can get negitive points for just shooting at a team mate, not killing them. EVERY time you shoot at a team mate, you get a negitive point. But I also heard the other player can "forgive" the other person. Thats good, IMO. Beacuse in other BF games I accendently hit my teammates in close quarter shooting.

That sounds like the scripted system in place on my favorite CoD server (Dead Presidents). I like to play with FF on so that's good to hear.
