Trailer Battlemarked Demeo X Dungeons and Dragons

Last night I came across the demo for a new computer game called Demeo X Dungeons and Dragons: Battlemarked on YouTube. Here's the link for one of the game's trailers:

Here's what I learned about the game:

*This game does take place in the Forgotten Realms setting as there is mention of Neverwinter and the Emerald Enclave.
*It makes use of miniatures that look like they were made on Heroforge and uses 3d surroundings like those in VTTRPGs.
*You get to play around with four characters. A Copper Dragonborn Paladin of Bahamut, a Tiefling Rogue, a Human Ranger and a Halfling Sorcerer.
* You use cards to determine your characters' actions be it a class feature or a spell. You get new cards after every monster encounter and they do appear to become more powerful as you move through the game.
*Combat in the game appears to be phased. Your party attacks first and then your opponents make their attack. No initiative timeline to mix things up.


So, what is everyone's thoughts about the trailer? Anyone thinking of giving it a try when it officially debuts? curious

My initial posting is for a Demeo and D&D crossover. So, it's very much like D&D.
