I've just finished reading Siani's post that copies the combat between her and Baalodias last night. It's in the "Greyhawk: Southern Business ((OOC)) " thread on the Map of the Planes (link is:

I'd love to see other battles!

I have a couple copied myself but I don't have the permissions of those most involved so I won't post them. But I'll see if I can contact them.

And I'm not sure where these should be posted, since (1) it's in char, but (2) could be either Emporium/Arena or Tavern/Clearing. Though the same thread name could be used in both of those sections?

What do others think?

I think it would be a great idea, but I'm not sure where the best place for the thread would be. I'm bringing it up with my colleagues.

If it takes place in the Clearing I'd post it on the The CrossRoads Tavern board. Likewise if it takes place in the Arena it can go on the Juxta board. I really think that it's ok that it is in that format. The boards are not just for in character posts, but also for in character role-playing.

how can you make a battle on a message forum's thread???
i saw battles in RPGWorlds on something like Mirc but it seemd boring because you can't do much and the dicce rolls are posted betuin the lines and you have more dice rolls than lines. I think it isn't worth it but maybe with you it's different? How does it look when you batle on a message forum thread?

What they mean is posting the log of the battles they fight in chat, N.Y.. Because chat is realtime, if you fight a battle and your friends aren't online, they don't get to see it. But if people are permitted to post the log of their event on the boards they can still see how well (or not) it went.
