So beyond the corebook and the eventual GM Screen, are there any other projects in the works we can await anxiously for?

BTW..just got the PDF today and from what I have seen I like.

Quick Start guide

The quick Start guide is also available and has adventure stuff in it so actually useful too. Other than that, have not heard any announcements or rumors of more products to come. Did get the offical word that we can look forward to 3 more Serenity RPG books next year!!!!!!!!

I'll try to resurect an old content.
I'm trying to have some info on BSG Rpg, looking for player's or Dm that have already played.
For a couple of question

It's not a gaming product, but this is a very cool reference for the setting:

Battlestar Galactica Map of the 12 Colonies

I mentioned this in the Media form last month, apparently the production staff of Caprica got together with some scientists from JPL and came up with a scientifically plausible way for the 12 colonies to fit into one (quadruple) star system and made a really cool in-setting document (jointly produced by the Colonial Department of Education and Greystone Industries).

The show's been over for some time, and the rpg was out a while before that. At one point I think there were going to be more books but it seems unlikely now.

As to the existing material I've played it a couple of times and it runs well and seems to do a good job capturing the flavor of the show.

I got an e-mail at the end of January announcing that both the Serenity RPG and BattleStar RPG would no longer be available through drivethrurpg. They're no longer displayed at the MWP site, so I'd say that MWP no longer has the license for either. (This seems to have been confirmed by Cam Banks on rpg.net)

According to its entry on RPG Geek, it got the basic book, a free quickstart guide, a GM screen, and six web supplements, and that's it.

I believe it used the old version of the Cortex system (the same as Serenity), which is a system I dislike intensely. I can probably answer some basic rules questions if you ask them. If not, Cam may well drop by... but you'd have to ask the questions first! :)

Cheers!

Thanks for the map Wingsandsword!

I played DnD for the last 15 years and wanted to try something else. I'm a fan of the BSG serie and stumble upon the corebook. It's been a while that I wanted to make a game setting in space and also wanted to try another system than the d20.
BSG-RPG rules looks nice and simple but there is a lot of thing missing, especially in the vehicule combat section...

So I have a couple of questions, if anybody would be kind enough to light my lights!

Here they are:
MK2 Vipers have d4 skills in Pilot and Perception. Does that replace the operator's Pilot/Perception skills or they are added?
Raiders does not have piloting skills, so I assume they only roll there agility (d12) dice to dodge and attack?

A MK2 Viper has 2 autocannon, does the pilot makes 2 attak rolls? just one? or it is considered 2 separate action (wich would give a -1 step penalty on the second shot)? What for the MK7 with 3 guns, or the Galactica with 48 missile lauchers?

Well, that's it for now!
Thanks ;)
