This looks interesting, but it occured to me, is there a way of confirming if it's legit?

I'm curious as to what you might think of in a legitimate sense. But at any rate it is a valid internal BBC e-mailaddress so if he didn't work there he couldn't read the answers.

Well, if it's a valid email that answers my question regarding 'legit'.

It struck me as a slightly odd way to look for this kind of info.

Me too. And the only thing that I am certain about is the validity of the email address

Well, there is a real "Darren Waters" writing for the BBC; if you search the website, you'll find stories written by him. It looks like he does mostly arts/entertainment stories.

And really, I don't see that it's very odd to try to get info on EN World. This is the biggest D&D website after WotC's own, so it's a natural choice.

Certainly EN World is a logical place to go, I agree. A simple post by a brand new user just struck me as odd, that's all.

I would have advised the guy to contact Russ directly. They way he could post an announcement somewhere to get the best response. Of course, I'm sure all the admins will see Darrens thread now anyway, so it doesn't matter much.
