Been out of the loop... need good (free) programs!

Hey guys, I've been out of the online community for a while, and I finally managed to lay my hands on a laptop to use at the game table, so I need some good (preferably free) 3.5 programs. If anyone has any suggestions, pls. post 'em. Thanks for the help in advance, and if this is in the wrong forum I'm sorry about that.

PCGen is a free program. It does require that java be installed on your system to run.

The RSRD (3.5) dataset has been added to the distribution release. It is not completely done, but it is very close. I don't exactly know what is missing...there are some templates (half-dragon is one) that haven't been added yet.
