If you want the BAB quickly, Hexblade is appropriate for dark creatures like Aberrations. If you want effective, Artificer, as mentioned would be nice, especially if it learns to make you more servants/mooks.
 

Amorph means "shapeless", refering to such creatures as jellies, slimes, and oozes. Most of these creatures directly absorb organic matter to survive.
A benevolent Living Spell or an Awakened Ooze would be nifty roaming the halls.

Hexblade would grant me the BAB and decent HD, but the class abilities for the first 2 levels won't be very helpful.

I'm leaning towards Artificer, all the class abilities would be helpful for a stay-at-home character. I'm not sure how an armless creature would scribe scrolls and brew potions, but once I figure it out, it would be very helpful for my Factotum to return home and pick up some goodies that had been created since he was gone.
