I have a player wanting to recreate this 2nd ed. item. are there any spells anywhere that do this?? He want's to make it to play "practical jokes" on his party members.....

30-32 Character’s gender changes.

Not as irrevocable as the girdle, but a close aproximation.

I really do not recommend allowing gender bending joke items unless the groups is mature enough to handle the issue. And it is usually those who are NOT mature enough to handle the issue who try to add such items to the game in the first place.
