Just to keep things Balanced.

IMO the following companies deserve a nod.

Mystic Eye Games, The Game Mechanics and Green Ronin, Malhavoc, Troll Lord.

And lets not forget EN Publishing (though they've slowed down a bit...but thats ok)

I wont say Valar, that would be biast. :-D

Green Ronin for Mutants and Masterminds! Though I own little else of theirs, that book deserves a nod. The Legions of Hell book was cool too.

Fantasy Flight Games for Midnight, Traps & Treachery, Traps & Treachery II and Dungeoncraft. Though Mystic Races, the first thing I bought of theirs, was a disappointment (in my opinion, mind you), they just keep getting better and better!

AEG for Rokugan if nothing else :)

Expeditious Retreat for MMS:WE.

Hm....

The best?

There are some products I tend to get even if I don't get them for review.

Malhavok is almost always right up there.

Green Ronin comes next. Freeport and Book of the Righteous are great resources.

Third would probably be Mystic Eye Games. I like that they support other companies and have their own line up of stuff. And one of these days, I will finish the Deep and have a fairly comprehensive review of that mammoth book.

Atlas: I like some of their adventurers, but their sourcebooks are what I truly enjoy. I get a lot of use out of Crime & Punishment as well as Dynasties and Demigouges.

Bastion Press: Oathbound man. It's Oathbound.

Paradigm Press: I enjoy their racial sourcebooks like Giants and Mind Flayers and look forward to them getting more product in the stores.

Joseph Goodman is a G.
I also like Monte Cook.
I like thpse people who published that Players Handbook, DMG, MM trilogy.

I would really like a company that would publish a digest D&D publication. Something old school like Autoduel Quarterly. I tried, but I screwed the pooch. Maybe someone could do better. No me gusta Dungeon or Dragon.

You guys need to take a look at Necromancer Games. Don't let the Sword and Sorcery logo scare you. They do mostly modules, but they are very good. They are also doing the new Judges Guild material/remake. The Wilderlands book is out and it is very good.

Other Necro titles to take a look at: The Grey Citadel, Rappan Athuk 1 through 3, Crucible of Freya, Vault of Larin Karr, Tomb of Abysthor, and the Lost City of Barakus.

If you still remember first edition with fond memories you should already be a fan of Necromancer. They do catch the "feel" of 1e in their 3e/3.5 product.

Plus their website is active and provides numerous web extra's for their products.

Check them out. www.necromancergames.com Much of the extra's require product passwords. But what you will see should convince you.

I'll have to second the nod to Necromancer.

Sword and Sorcery. I love the Scarred Lands setting. And the new Warcraft books are really well done in my oppinion.

Ahrimon

I buy anything with a Scarred Lands logo on it. You should see the kickin' SL Underoos I picked up at the Con!

On to reality, I DO buy any book with a Scarred Lands logo on it. I have to give WotC a nod, of course, since 3.5 is their thing anyway. FFG is pretty nifty as well.

Quite a few publishers have done a good book. A handful have done many good books. But the publishers who produce the highest quality product every time are, IMO:

1. Necromancer
2. Atlas/Penumbra
3. WotC
