Well If you are forcing people to choose from this limited list then I would have to say
Ravenloft.

But IMHO you have forgetten about two excellent setting
ARCANIS and Scarred Lands

Check the thread title. I don't own Scarred Lands or ARCANIS. :)

I voted for Midnight, though I mostly don't know the others. But I want to qualify my vote: the setting is grand, the mechanics so-so, and the book [the physical, actual thing] sucks (I have two copies, and both are falling apart).

I voted for Midnight, but where the heck is Iron Kingdoms? Tough call though and a lot of good choices, really hard to pass on Lot5Rs.

I take it that you do mean the Setting, as in the flavor/fluff/story stuff as opposed to the rules/crunch/system? In that case I choose Diamond Throne although Black Company would have come a close second. If you had said rules then I would say Iron Heroes, w/ AE and Black Company tied for second. If you combine the two then I am back to Diamond Throne or Black Company. It all depends on what you want to do.

Hi,

I really like Arcana Unearthed/Evolved as a set of alternate rules -- my current PC is a magister -- but the Diamond Throne setting has never struck me as being particularly interesting. Am I missing out?

Cheers

Richard
