Yes, indeed, Keith Baker's own City of Towers captures the feel of Eberron and the nature of the Eberron campaign really well. Then again, he did create the setting so he has an edge!

And stick with it. Marked For Death is very hit-or-miss, and I've heard very bad things about Crimson Talisman (like a half-elf member of house Orien who bears the mark of passage*).
