Best humanocentric (low level) fantasy adventures?

I need something to kick off an intro campaign, and, given that the PCs are all human, and I want all (or nearly all) NPCs to be human as well*, I figured I'd start a thread with that there catchy title. :)

System is really neither here nor there, but setting should hew fairly closely to some kind of vanilla fantasy, mythic fantasy, folklore, or combinations thereabouts (e.g, no Warhammer in my D&D, thanks. . . hm, not for this campaign, at any rate).

And, just for extra emphasis, I *do not* want elves, dwarves, halflings and whatever else wandering around all over the place, intermingling and stuff.

* And well, if they're not, they [their 'race'] should be rare, evil, mysterious. . . one or more of these, I guess.

Take a look at The Melford Murder over on Dragonsfoot in the 1E adventure section. It's a cool murder mystery for 1st level characters. The adventure takes place in a small human settlement with a low wahoo factor.

But is it TPKing you?
Heh. I'll have to ask all of us me to make sure. :hmm:

Anyway, thanks so much for the coupon. :) Much appreciated! I can't comment on the adventure yet, as I haven't even downloaded it at this time. But, just about to.

Cheers! And happy father's day also, and in like kind, if that happens to be appropriate, of course.

Oh, and have some XP, for want of something better to give in return.

Maybe its time to check out the supremely excellent Harn setting material?

Plenty of top notch free stuff at lythia.com to get you started.
