Best Names ever given to PC's Weapons

I had a paladin who destroyed a Demon named Arkis, so he named his sword, Arkisbane,

Some that might not be the most original out there, but that struck me as neat. I usually like to use the rules from Slaine/Celtic Age for naming weapons and getting a minor bonus (but suffering a corresponding penalty if the weapon is broken). Some of these also are "mere" magic items.

*Raker - gae bolga (barbed spear)
*Rowanflight - long bow
Itzpapalotl - artifact-level macahuitl
Godstrap - magic belt (forget what its powers were)

One of my players has a Spear named Britney. No kidding.

I can think of only one of the player's actually being in the habit of naming his weaponry, and he usually gave them Japanese names. So no, no "Skull Breakers."

Actually, my kung-fu knight had a falchion +1 named "The Wimpcleaver," but weapons generally don't get names in our games unless they're sentient -- and those tend to be kinda evil and unusable, so I don't remember any of them.

Skrakk, a 1/2 orc barbarian/cleric of Tanil (CG nature goddess) had a 6 charisma. His mentor insisted that it was better to use sweet reason and gentle persuasion on foes than violence. Therefore he named his battle axe Sweet reason and his heavy mace Gentle persuasion.

God sometimes I miss playing him....

So far really no named weapons yet but I've named a few of my NPCs weapons.

The thing I remember is a particular player whose tactical sense was, well, less than honed, going through a *lot* of PCs in a long, level 1-20 game.

The rest of the group kept his old PC's weapons and named them after their deceased owners. So there was Tempest the longsword (ranger 4, killed by bugbears), Wulfgar the bastard sword (barbarian 5, scarab of death), Raven the quarterstaff (druid 7, vampires), and so on. Alas, the tradition ceased when his latest druid (whose name I forget) was killed in a collapsing demiplane so we couldn't retrieve his weapon. And the player moved to Sydney...
