Call of Cthulhu has bunches of them -- practically the best part of the game.
"Masks of Nyarlathotep" is the best module/campaign I've ever run -- twice.
There was also one book with a couple scenarios that were particularly good -- can't remember the book but one of the scenarios was a sort of haunted house thing called "The Van Laaden Mansion" and was a great intro to CoC and another was something like "The Secret of Chaugnar Faughn".
I like some of the old Runequest modules like Apple Lane, there are lots of good Call of Cthulhu adventures like Masks of Nyarlathotep, and nonD20 D&D I liked the old Judges Guild modules like Thieves of Fortress Badabaskor.
I presume that you want to exclude all D20 material not just WotC.
