Best of d20 ???

Last I saw the Ultimate P-class book was to be 60% OGC and 40% original Mongoose stuff.

Are they collections from other publishers, or only from their companies? When I hear a "best of" collection, I think of something that pools from across the spectrum.

The Grimoires list all of the arcane or divine spells from the PHB, plus a selection of spells from several other sources other than Green Ronin.

I say even if Green Ronan, and Mongoose are putting out their own, do it. But worry about the Judging for what " The best of" means. I personally would like it to be contest/ submission based by anyone ( Company, Freelance based) with some OGC
that has already been done.

I say put out a submission guide for each topic and take them two at a time

PrC's & Feats, Monsters New rules, Alt Rules

Spells, Magic Items, New Magic Rules, Alt Rules. ( Weaves, what have you)

And I would prefer hard back, or soft back books to PDF

Who would run the contest then? I like the idea, but you need some person/group to run it, and then collect a panel of judges.

In that case, you'd need to find a group to do the actual publishing. For that, it'd have to be in the publisher's best interest (probably via expected profits) to do it.
