What is the best rogue special ability in 3.5?

They're all pretty good, but Improved Evasion owns them all. No damage on a save, and only half damage on a fail? Sign me up.

I like opportunist. Free sneak attacks, because you're in a good position? Definitely.

Opportunist and Skill Mastery are super sweet, but I voted Improved Evasion for sheer survivability.

I voted for skill mastery. In our campaigns, we use fumbles on skill too, so the automatic take 10 is a must. I tried it with spot and listen (with alertness and all), wich got the DM some ulcer...

Ditto about evasion. None or full isn't that much worse than none or half.

However, IIRC AoO's don't count as flanking hits. So you wouldn't get sneak attack just because you were flanking someone. Making opportunist a little less useful. Until you get the über sneak attack of opportunity from ELHB.
