Best rules that game designers have made?

So we already have a thread on the worst rules designers have made. To sneak a little positive on EN World, I thought I would start a post on what you thought were the best rules in d20.

Me, I like a lot of the stuff that Monte did with Arcana Evolved. Spell templates, weapon templates, heighted and diminished effects for spells. I also really like the implementation of Psionic Focus in the Psionics Handbook.

Ritual Casting.

Hags as templates

Uhm druids that aren't nature clerics! :D

Yeah think that about sums it up.

Oh almost forgot! Divine invocations for various gods and their portfolios.

That's it.

JV,

I changed it! :p But in any case I did do my best to use Scarred Lands without actually referencing it. ;)

Olgar,

Yep, that's why I play this game! :)

Not that they were specific "rules" so to speak, but I have to say that the OGL and the d20 license were the thing that made the most impact for me (for better or worse).

Oh and it also made D&D so much more expensive that I originally anticipated. :p
