Best Tablet for use at a 4e table?

I am looking for input on what tablet would be the best for use at my 4e game?

I am thinking it would need to be able to handle the following:

Wifi- obviously, with tethering as an option would be great.

An app or browser compatible with the online character builder and rules compendium.

The ability to present pdfs in a way that will big enough to read without going blind :) and of course enough space for them with an easy way to get them on and off.

Other than that the rest gets more optional,

Good gaming related apps are potential plus.

After that it would be lowest price wins.

I'm not sure any tablet can run the character builder, if it uses Silverlight.

Otherwise, there are several Android tablets that enable tethering. I THINK there are 3G iPads that offer it as well -- I just use a wifi one, so I'm not sure.

Each platform has a variety of good PDF readers, so that's not a differentiator.

I looked up Silverlight and it looks like it is windows only right now which puts a bit of a damper on the whole thing.

I have run the CB on Macs, so that can't be quite right: perhaps you meant it doesn't run on things like Androids, iPads & other portable devices?

I think with the right app, anything may be possible, even CB.

I would say iPad, but that is because I have one. Apps like index cards, The Dicenomicon, SRD rules, PDF Readers (Readdledoc or GoodReader), etc. it makes a great DM aid. Add to that a note program that creates grids, you can pen maps on the fly.

Of course the same is available on the other tablets. ;)
