These are some spells I was thinking there might be room for use or creativity. The maps don't say they need to remain on the the owner to be used or that the target needs to be willing. A sleight of hand check to pocket them on opponents seems like an option, but a risky one since that target should become aware of the other too.

If nothing else, when the fighter gets swallowed whole a person could cast heat metal on his shield that he leaves behind when another caster banishes him to a safe demi plane then let's him appear in the nearest unoccupied space, thereby freeing him from being swallowed whole and creating automatic damage with the shield. And maybe nicely toss the fighter some protection from energy if he needs it having been freed.

Random thoughts anyway. Might not be useful.

To preface: My criteria has been 1) things that specifically call out "a ___ you can see", 2) Effects to apply to allies, not enemies (we can't rely on enemies having a map), 3) Effects that are usable more than once, or present a substantial bonus.

Looking at items, there isn't anything from 2024 that stood out. From official 2014, there are 3 items from Bigby Presents: Glory of the Giants, and 1 from the Book of Many Things.
  • Shield of the Blazing Dreadnaught (Legendary, Attunement)
  • Sanctum Amulet (Wondrous, Very Rare, Attunement)
  • Longbow of the Healing Hearth (Legendary, Attunement)
  • Breastplate of Balance (Rare, Attunement)
It will be a while before I can list the partnered items.

Looking through partnered went faster than I thought.
From The Griffin's Saddlebag, Book 2:
  • Soul Pendant (Rare, Attunement)
  • Sash of Sorcerous Synergy (Rare, Sorcerer Attunement)
  • Rod of Thought Protection (Uncommon)
  • Life Turner (Legendary)
From the Book of Ebon Tides is the Collapsible Mountain (Legendary, Attunement).

In addition to everything I have listed so far there are abilities, gifts, items that contain spells which have been listed, and I can list what those items are if asked, but haven't so far simply because they contain those spells.

As for why there are so few: The vast majority of effects which specify "that you can see" are intended to do harm, or relate to an unoccupied space, while the majority of benevolent effects that have a range don't list a sight requirement.
