Best way to kill a dragon?

I was under the impressions that red dragons only get arcanic spells, not divine. I know that blue dragons get divine however.

nope, Reds get Cleric spells too. Flanking is a way to get sneak attacks, invisibility not, because it can see invisible. It can be murder though to get into flanking position for you summoned creature if it can't tumble.

Flank him and you´ll get your Sneak Attack, Blindsight or not.

But you are dead meat anyway if your DM does his job of running a Dragon right. I´m serious. You are toast.

ok people, thanks for the advice and all. but the only thing I am asking for is good combo's for spells. My character is in an enraged state oover the loss of a companion, and is blindly going into battle. His only purpose on this world is to fly up and slay the beast. No reasoning will change his purpose.


With that said, I ask again. What are some really good tactical spells I could use?

take the leadership feat, slowly feed him followers and cohorts till he is tired and sleepy, then sell everything you own and hire mercs

Hope and pray that you have a Hold Monster prepared, and that by some miracle that it actually works. Try to coup de grace it for a couple of round, if that doesn't work.....run like hell.

you MUST beat it's SR though and that'll be tough...
