Boz Shulun

First Post
This is our (the Gamerstable podcast) next topic of discussion and we are interested in the community's input.

Mark (the cast member who's topic choice this is) says that for him it is strictly character generation. It is through that that he learns the basis of the rules and then he fills in the nuances from there.

Anyone have any other ways?

As before, I am posting this with the intention of quoting those who participate on an upcoming episode. If you do not want to have your name or online handle used, please say so.

A quick learn to play video followed with a more in depth video.

NEITHER of which should be done with idiotic bobble head characters like the :):):):) wotc pulled with 3.5.

I prefer learning a new game by playing it with folks who already know how to play.

This.
Sometimes I read the rulebook first. I learned Savage Worlds by reading then GMing a session for a friend and myself... Would have preferred to just play to learn. Much more fun.
