Will you be doing a POD of this?
I'm interested in seeing this, but no way I'm going to try and print out 250 pages.

Yes a POD is planned for the near future.

I should mention that the pdf version has been optimized to be as toner cartridge friendly as possible. It will take less ink to print than many shorter publications I have seen.

This is nitpicking, I know, but CR stands for Challenge Rating, not Combat Rating. You might want to change that for your release statement.

Does the book cover any more uses of the Handle Animal skill? I can't think of anything off the top of my head, but it seems like a book like this is just begging for an expansion of that skill.

Took a look at the black bear entry (demo), like what I saw. Makes the animal much more interesting in a gaming context, and thus much more usable. Any plans to do the same for monsters and the like?

The only bad thing about it is, you had to release the book when I 'm broke. Next release could you wait until the beginning of the month?

(I'd ask for a review copy, but since my reviews are few and far between tis better I pay for it. :) )

Thanks for the feedback. The book does not expand the Handle Animals skill directly, but it does frequently include notes about the value of an animal as a pet or trained animal. It also provides clear guidance on what tasks an animal will be capable of. The book does add 10 new feats and special abilities, which focus on the animals capabilities in the wild. Another 11 have been extended to make them more appropriate to animal types. I do plan on releasing an animal training table as a free supplement in the Bonus Materials section of my website (check here).

Thanks

You do have good taste in clip art. Nice 19th and 20th century illustrations.

The world climate map is a bit ... basic on the other hand. While accurate in general, it does overlook the effect of elevation and ocean currents. Perhaps a few changes are in order?

Another very minor thing, on the page of bonus materials, Spit Venom is under the header listing it as a new feat, and then in parenthesis it's called a new special ability. The part about it being a new feat seems erroneous.
