I was thinking maybe an Archaologist? Or maybe a paleo-botanist? WOuld either of these be acceptable? Or did you have somehting else in mind?

Either could work well. Given the findings of the Miskatonic Expedition, an archaeologist and especially a palaeo-botanist would come in very handy.

This game sounds like great fun! Need any more p[layers? I was also thinking of a female character, perhaps a nurse.

Character creation specifics... 28-point buy, start at 4th level, using the class defense bonus to AC, ermm... no psychics. Anything I'm forgetting? I always forget chargen stuff.

Just a pre-warning. BtMoM is by no means a small adventure. At all. Anyone who's seen it knows that. This could be a very lengthy PbP, and I hope it is.

Going for a pilot/explorer type, what modes of transportation will be most applicable here? So what other character creation issues should we know about?

She turned out to be much more of the "Indiana Jones" type rather than the meek scientist I initally thought of.
