It if it just a cute little (or even hideous!) gith baby in a swaddling cloth, I think very few people would have even considered handing it over. If it was a pregnant gith (I know they're not viviparous, I'm talking theoretically), I think close to 0% of people would have handed them over, even unethical PCs would have balked.As for the egg-keeper, well, the creche isn't destroyed unless you destroy it, and you don't have to destroy it. You can simply fight the people you need to, then take the exit that isn't through all the other gith.</blockquote>
