I know that there were two vestiges described in an issue of Dragon, but are there any other articles or info of note for binders? Particularly anything about building vestiges?

There are several vestiges available on the WotC site. One is in an article written by Matt Sernett, back when ToM first came out. The same article gives tips on building vestiges. I also included a couple of new ones in one of my Cityscape web enhancements. And there's one new vestige in Dragon Magic.

There might be others, but those are the sources that spring immediately to mind.

There were 2 or 3 in an article in Dragon from when ToM came out. Primus was one of them, I think Kas was another.

There also 3 "psionic" vestiges on the WotC site which grant power points and some known powers - they are probably not suitable if the campaign isn't using psionics.

The vestige in Dragon Magic is 8th level, so if you are just starting off as a binder there's no rush to get the book!
