Binder totemist PRC -help please

First Post
First i guess some background is in order, I am playing a Binder/ Totemist character with the dm taking the vestiges more as aspects of nature kind of thing. Think of native american stories of coyote, or african stories of anansi the spider for inspiration, but ultimatly it is still same vestiges just different name/tone. Thisis a prestige class to combine the two for progression, as it stands I am very versitle with 24 hours notice but dont have much punch.

Name: Spirit Aspect.

requirements
bind 3rd level vestige
least chakra bind (hand feat etc)
totem chakra bind

This as a 10 level prestige class
3/4 attack bonus
good fort
poor ref and will saves
level advancement for binding and meldshaping for 8 out of 10 levels
the 2 levels (3/8) that dont get advancement instead gett a new level of chakras open.
4 skill points/level
HD d8

considering ability to bind extra vestige to totem chakra or bind ignore requirements if invest 1 essentia into bound vestige, cannot be reassigned until vestige no longer bound.

any suggestions

I've been working on a similar approach of melding Binding and Totemists.

My class has Medium BAB, D6 hit points, 2 skill points but 9/8 (b/ms) increase in binding/meldshaping and a few abilities:

1st level - Vestige Soulmeld (Soul): If you shape this Soulmeld you choose one Vestige which you have bound and gain the Favored Vestige feat for this Vestige.
Essentia: For each essentia invested in this Soulmeld, your binder level increases by +1.
Chakra Bind: You gain an insight bonus to all saves equal to twice the amount of essentia invested into this soulmeld.

5th level - Drain Vestige +1: You gain 1 point of essentia for 1 round, but loose access to 1 power granted to you by a Vestige for 5 rounds. At 8th level you gain 2 points of essentia for 2 rounds instead.

7th level - Vestige Chakra: You can bind two soulmelds to the same chakra, one being bound to your Vestige. If you expel any Vestige while using this ability, both soulmelds are unbound from their Chakra Binds and one of them (chosen at the expulsion) is unraveled.

10th level - Vestige Empowerment: For 1 round, your binder level is increased by half your effective meldshaper levels for 1 round. You can use this ability 1/day + your Charisma bonus).

They also get Chakras (crown, feet, hands) at 3rd level and (arms, brow, shoulders) at 9th and Pact Augmentation at 4th level.

The binder in our game seems concerned about being able to dismiss or bind quicker than once a day. Is that something the PrC should consider? I'll admit to not having the book to read myself.

The entry requirement of your class are much stricter than the Anima Mage, Sapphire Hierarch, Soulcaster, Mystic Theurge etc. either one of that or the 8/10 progression would make it an overly weak class without insanely good class abilities. Both are crippling.

Ok - I'll try these in part:

1. Saves - the PrC gets good Fortitude saves and bad Reflex/Will (since Fortitude is the only one shared by Binders and Totemists)

2. Wycen - the binder in your game should take a look at "Expel Vestige" in that case.

3. NilesB - the entry requirements for "my version" was 3 soulmelds, 2 essentia, one bind, level 2 vestiges, Knowledge: Arcana 6 ranks. Pretty easy to get, but then my class only does 9/8 progression.

I'd up the skill requirement, 3rd is a little to early to be qualifying for this kind of PrC. what soulbinds/ class abilities did it grant?

Also I think we are using different assumptions in our abreviations, if you look at the first post you should see what I meant. it looks like your prestige class actually gets better advancement than Kyloss's
