I'm upset !!
I've invested in print versions of Monte's 3 books of Eldritch Might and
his book of Hallowed Might.
He has reprinted them all in ver. 3.5 and cheap updates of the PDF's.
So, where are we , the ones who bought the print version to do ??
We need to petition Malhavoc to do a update for us, so we don't have
spend a bunch of money again !!
I'm more than willing to pay a small amount for the updates, just like
the PDF upgrades.

I think Drago's point is that the people who bought the 3E PDF versions got free upgrades to 3.5E, and people who buy the print and PDF's now are getting 3.5E by default, but the people who bought the 3E print products are the only ones being left out in the cold; Monte is trying to make sure that all of his buyers get that upgrade, but people like Drago have so far been left out in the cold. It's not that a publisher necessarily owes anyone an upgrade, but if a publisher does want to offer free upgrades to 3.5E to people with the previous products (and current buyers by default), it should be unilateral.

Monte's 3.5 pdf upgrades are not free.

I have BoEM I from pdf and the new print Complete BoEM. I have not paid for the 3.5 upgrades to the pdf.

From the book here is what I've noticed so far.

The holy and unholy lace feats surprisingly did not change their +2 to spell DCs down to +1. Mark spells (both normal and greater) changed to 10 minutes level and greater mark of earth's dr 10/magic now expires after it absorbs 10 points per level.

I'm guessing some spell schools would have changed and NPC stats for the characters from BOEM III, but it is mostly a print compilation of the three books with a modest 3.5 conversion plus AU conversion notes in the back.

This is a risk whenever you buy any print rules. Hopefully Monte will release an update document for them, but there's no guarantee. Try posting on his boards.

I can't bitch about Malhavoc, seeing as I don't think Monte's doing anything wrong. I happily bought the CBoEM even though I had the original three print BoEM; I'll just give the latter away at Chicago Game Day. If you should be mad at anyone (assuming it's even appropriate to get "mad"), get mad at WotC for releasing 3.5 and forcing the possibility that your books would need to be upgraded at all.

You might want to bring this up over on the Malhavoc boards.

The PDF's got the upgrade and we didn't, and I'd be willimg
to pay a small fee to off-set his time etc.
I didn't say Monte was doing anything wrong, its just that he needs to
give the opportunity to cheaply upgrade to all his previous customers.

I can't bitch about Monte's PDF policy for two reasons:

1) He did update the Prints with Complete BoEM and 3.5 version of BoHM. Sure it's not free but then none of the revised stuff from other publishers updates are either.
