Some intersting news from the Ampersand for October

November will see a third build for the Artificer in DDI,

December has a followup article for the assassin with feats, ki focus items and powers. There will also be an article expanding on familiars for wizards with powers that interact with the familiar.

January sees a warlock article with more powers, as well as roleplaying advice for various pacts.

Dungeon will see solo adventures, as well as a new Demonomicon and ecology of the Mithril Dragon (which would be a spoiler for Draconomicon 2 I guess).

And last but not least,

Some previews of the Dragonborn race book, including the Ninefold Master Paragon path, which is an arcane power paragon path, focussing on the Dragonborns breath weapon.

solo adventures

The most intriguing of the lot. I'm looking forward to this.

The Warlock article is supposed to give info on the relationship between the Warlock and his Patron. FINALLY. That's the juicy stuff I like.

I wonder if "solo adventures" means an adventure for 1 DM and 1 player, or something along the lines of a choose-your-own-adventure gamebook. I would actually find the latter more interesting.

Yep. That's something I've been waiting for. I wished they'd included Artificers instead of the steenkin' Swordmages in Arcane Power.

That Counterbreath power in the Ninefold Master path is amazing. Take Admixture Breath a few times, and you basically don't have to worry about breath weapons ever again!
