The world we live in is not as it seems.Behind the noise of everyday life, beneath neon lights, corporate towers, and quiet suburban streets, something biblical and wrathful waits in the shadows.
PACT is an urban occult horror tabletop role-playing game about ordinary people who made the worst decision of their lives: they accepted a deal with a demon.
Players take the role of Pactbearers, individuals who traded their souls to a supernatural entity known as a Patron Demon in exchange for power, survival, revenge, or something they believed they desperately needed.
Now they must live with the consequences.
In PACT, players explore a modern world where demons manipulate humanity through whispers, temptation, and influence. Power always comes with a price, and every supernatural gift slowly erodes a character’s integrity.
Blasphemies, the forbidden powers granted through the Pact, allow characters to bend reality, dominate minds, or unleash supernatural wrath. But each use risks corruption and psychological collapse.
The game introduces unique mechanics such as Profane and Damnation Points, an advanced pushing system that grants players a currency used to empower their Blasphemies, while also giving the Whisperer the ability to unleash complications, negative effects, or even the direct intervention of their Patron Demons.
The world of PACT is shaped by hidden factions manipulating humanity from the shadows. Among them are the Apostates, who seek to rebuild the world in Hell’s image; the Penitents, who search for redemption and a way to reclaim their damned souls; and the Lilithians, who fight for humanity’s freedom against both demons and angels alike.
Players will face dangerous adversaries including:
• Instruments – mortal servants of angelic entities
• Exorcists – relentless hunters of supernatural corruption
• Fiends – former Pactbearers consumed by their demons
Built on Free League’s acclaimed Year Zero Engine, the game combines cinematic mechanics with intense personal horror storytelling.
PACT focuses on personal horror, moral decisions, and the tension between power and damnation.
