Am I the only one who thinks that adding in cute young 20-somethings is possibly not the best way to go with the Blade franchise? It could still be great, don't get me wrong -- I have no intention of passing judgment before seeing more -- but it seems to alter the tone a fair amount, and most of what Blade had going for it was tone and cool fight scenes. Let's hope whatshername-from-Seventh-Heaven can fight.

I mean, as long as they're messing with the franchise they should just go all out.

Shoot I was hoping for a glimpse of the scene where Stiffler gets with Blade's mom. At least having Will Ferrell as the main bad guy should be cool.
