Blasphemous Spell [Metamagic]

I'm trying to come up with a new Metamagic feat along the lines of Corrupt Spell, but with a different flavor and effect.

Corrupt spell (to paraphrase) adds the [Evil] descriptor to a spell and turns half the damage dealt into divine damage that gets around elemental resistances or immunities. It uses a slot 1 level higher.

I want to retain the [Evil] descriptor part but put in a different effect. The name I've come up with is Blasphemous Spell.

This feat would be forbidden to those who worship a deity.

some initial ideas: (feedback please!)
  • adds a penalty to spellcraft checks to identify the spell being cast because of its twisted nature
  • +1 DC to saves if those making the save worship a deity
  • profane bonus to something

You could have it have a negative effect on good-aligned creatures who fail their save against it. Nauseated is a good one, as is dazed. Anything more - in particular, anything that makes them flat-footed - would probably be too good. I'd probably put a feat that did that at +2 spell levels, or +1 if it required something like Spell Focus (Necromancy) or BOVD's Spell Focus (Evil).
 

Are there any other metamagic feats that require a spell focus feat or anything other than different metamagic feats?
 

How does this look? Any feedback on flavor or balance?

Requirements: evil alignment, knowledge (religion) x ranks, may not worship a deity

A spell modified by this feat gains the [Evil] Descriptor. Add +1 to spell penetration checks and save DCs versus those who worship a deity. A Blasphemous spell takes up a slot one higher than normal.

A spell modified by this feat Corrupt spell. Furthermore is Good spellcasters take a penalty of 2 to anycheck made against the spell. (also lower spellresistance by of a Good creature)
A Blasphemous Spell uses a spell slot 3 levels Higher

(could remove the spell resistance factor and make it +2 i think)
