So basically it's an inverted Lantern Archon? Not bad though, and you get bonus points for the very original name.

Two Claws up, very nice. :D

Thanks! It's meant to be precisely a Fallen Lantern Archon, so yeah, pretty much exactly inverted.

IMHO it fills one of the needs of the current Devil family: it's Evil, fairly weak, and not a Baatezu. Good spy, guard, and "air support".

It's really giving my PCs some troubles right now... they're 4th/5th level, have no magic weapons, and haven't yet thought to use the Cleric's Magic Weapon spell... and the Wizard isn't in the area at the moment.

Imps don't get ranged touch attacks that do 1d6 Unholy damage. That really freaks my players out, especially since they are unfamiliar with the critter in question, and can't say "oh, it's a Imp, chuck a silver dagger at its lame butt".

In my experience, novel monsters (including monsters with unknown class levels) put the players more into the heads of their characters, since they have less meta-game knowlege.

Also, I like makin' stuff up. :D

I usually punish metagamers voraciously myself. But yeah, making new critters up is fun. And, in regards to las, he does have a point. Your creatures stats would be easier to read if they followed the layout used in the monster books. Anyways, it's just a suggestion. ;)

I think ferret said that. Even if I did it will make it easer to read thus giving you a faster time in using it (yes its a pain at first) plus if other people want to use em they have an easer time.

Hold on I just said it :D .
