Blindsight Feat questions

The Blindsight feat was originally printed in Masters of the Wild(3.0). Has it been updated in 3.5 at all? I know the Blindsense feat was introduced in Complete Adventurer but it is a totally different(and much less useful :) ) feat. According to the WotC page that lists all the updated feats, PrCs, etc., the original Blindsight feat has not been updated. Is the original feat still considered ok and usable in 3.5 since it technically hasn't been updated(unless I am mistaken)?

Does anyone think the new Blindsense feat is even worth taking? Considering the need to spend a wildshape use, it doesn't seem worth taking until very high level when you have more uses per day. And at that point you probably have access to better options.

Considering that Blindsense is a watered down Blindsight, it appears that the former is meant to replace the latter - especially if the latter hasn't shown up in 3.5.

Yeah, that is what I was thinking. The original was probably too powerful, but the new feat seems too costly to actually use much. Most of the new Wild feats require a wildshaping use to work and a druid doesn't get enough of those to make these feats worth taking until high level. Maybe they are just trying to make Extra Wildshape a more appealing feat.

Bingo. Especially if the druid is using wildshapes for other feats (I know the clerics I've seen that take divine feats almost always take Extra Turning as well).
